Sri Aman pipe Water can Turn Milky now Why?
A visit to Rumah Empadi, Batu lintang where the residents there, the people drink and bath with Milky pipe water. According to the poor folks there Pelita plantation and logging activities polluted the Batang Undup and unfortunately these area were designated catchment areas empagup for Sri Aman residents. In one or two years to come the residents of Sri Aman will drink pesticides and fertilizers for their daily lives and food supplements. Any comments?

If you say the pollution of water is caused by logging and plantation activities, a monkey will not believe you. If you raise any negative issue pertaining to land and environment in the state, a monkey challenges you to form a political party to confront him. So you cannot cricticise a monkey and his jungle species.

To my understanding a year back commented by YB Francis Harden that the water condition in Sri Aman will be better and improving So what I can see here it’s still look like Milo drink what is happening here ? and the worse come with the polluted water with pesticides and fertilizers slowly taking the life of Sri Aman residents and Pelita plantation and logging company filling up their pockets and be happy about it. Please YB Francis and YB Masir help the people in Sri Aman or else all the population of Sri Aman will be gone slowly and slowly by 2020 Now not because of Chap Langkau or Chap apek etc…….and it’s worse the water being poison.

who care? Sri Aman has the best hospital in Sarawak.We have good Doctors and Nurses taking care of everybody. Healthcare no problem the best is Sri Aman.
Pesticide or polluted drinking water, every household is provided with ah….”Ekin” water filter( ko ini sepiak rumah) don’t know what brand Sir…Begulong dilah aku nyebut.
Look at our waterfront, 1000 of tourist all over the world enjoy the tidal wave ( Pemansang Ba Sri Aman)Some as far as France( Nyau ka telan jagu ngena pelepok gelunsur).
Gula.. Our sugar is out of stock. Why ? Too much coffee offer to guest ( nemu Kita?) The Milky pipe water problem ? Our wakil is rakyat very hardworking brother…keruh laban ingin sepit nya….laban selalu ngabas Batu Lintang . Betulnya YB?…milky water…contents mineral brother… Better than Beer ..its cause you Gout…
1 or 2 years water pollution doesn’t give much effect to our health…Government sure will come out with better policy ….aya…to overcome the water problem…( Kitak nembiak ni nemu perintah) commences by most Paid Tuai Rumah….to secure RM 450 brother..ka idup.
Now…this is my sincere comments…we can’t take both…one much be sacrifice…opportunity cost… you want development that is price you need to pay…You don’t want development this the price you need to pay too… Government of the day should not too eager …introducing development policy..Now talking about Empagu water cacthment ,any environmental studied ever been conducted? Who ever comeout with walking Paper to stop development to our water cathment ? The rakyat representative, I ….think he is busy ….too busy, and I believed he is not smart or his EQ…is very low… when who ever come with Proposal…and willing to ahaaaaa…he said i will take note…don’t this sound good?
…Sri Aman… must change…the wakil Rakyat ( Francis ) should be replace.. 3 term is too long..i wonder why George Chan love this Chap so much…He is liablity to SUPP. What say you?

I have lived and worked for many years in Nigeria, a country that is rich in natural resources (oil) but ironically its people lack the basic amenities like electricity, clean water etc.. the rise of the millitants that attacks the oil facilities in that country is mainly due to the dissatisfaction of the people with how the government use the wealth of the country. The politicians become very greedy and the welfare of the people are the last thing on their minds giving priority to filling their own pockets first. If we are not careful, we will become like Nigeria..
Clean water and electricity are our two basic amenities… It is sad to say that 99.99% of our rural communities do not have this basic amenities provided for them. Being a Kayan from Baram, we have very much rely on our own generator as our source of power and rain/river water as our source of water.. I have not been back home to the longhouse for many years now but the last time that I was back (3 years ago) we had running water (pipe) coming to the house (which is a little progress) but the water is only good for flushing the toilet! Its murky and smelly! My parents still have to rely on rain water as a source of cooking and drinking water!
No treated drinking water for the rural folks is politics of development.
River is polluted by logging and plantation activities is also politics of development.
Federal allocation for the development of Sri Aman is being diverted to Betong is politics of development.
The long awaited construction of road to Banting, which was promised by BN during 1997 by-election, is politic of development.
The building of SRB St. Paul`s Banting has never been repaired since it was built in 1950s, is politics of development.
As always, the reason given is due to the rusty old pipes ….yet another grounds for Sri Aman main pipes to be replace….and yes, our brother contractor and the sub’s would benefited….

how about new hospital, airport, politeknik, SMI, teacher training centre, university branch of a university will do and etc. ybs said “I Will Take Note” sound convincing and to good to be true
